Ingredients

  • 11 Tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 1 Medium Onion Chopped into 1/4 inch pieces
  • 1/2 Head Large Green Cabbage Cut into large diced pieces; about 12 Cups
  • 1 Can Diced Tomatoes (15 ounces)
  • 2 Garlic Cloves minced
  • 1 Tablespoon Ground Cumin
  • 1 Tablespoon Ground Cinnamon
  • 1 Tablespoon Honey
  • 2 Tablespoon Tamari, Soy Sauce or Braggs Liquid Amino Acids
  • Salt and Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large heavy bottomed pot, heat olive oil over medium high and add onion. Saute for 3 minutes or until translucent. Add garlic and sauté 1 more minute
  2. Add tomatoes, cabbage, cumin, cinnamon, honey and tamari
  3. Continue cooking over high heat for about 5 minutes or until cabbage mixture just starts to boil
  4. Reduce heat down to medium low and cook another 15 minute or until cabbage is soft
  5. Turn off heat and stir in ¼ cup chopped parsley
