Pickled Onions FTW! This quick pickle is so easily made in 20 minutes
•Take 1 red onion and cut into julienne pieces
•heat one cup red wine vinegar with 4 pieces of star anise, 1 cinnamon stick and 8 black peppercorns
•pour over onion and let sit until cool
These tasty onions will last at least a month in your fridge. I like adding them to burgers, sandwiches, tacos, and any other dish that I want to add more flavor and more veggies!
